RLD MLA from Sadabad Assembly Constituency Pradeep Chaudhary alias Guddu has been acquitted by the Court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate in the case of giving inflammatory speech. During the election campaign, the MLA was accused of giving an inflammatory speech during a meeting with his supporters in his village.

Defense advocate Hitendra Kumar Chaudhary said that Praveen Kumar Badhotia of the flying squad team had filed a case against Pradeep Chaudhary in Sadabad police station. It was alleged that on the afternoon of 12 February 2022, Pradeep Choudhary alias Guddu, son of Keran Singh, resident of village Tikait police station, Sadabad, RLD candidate, was holding a meeting with his supporters in his village Tikait without permission. In his speech, objectionable comments like cutting fingers, gouging eyes and breaking hands etc. were used, which comes in the category of inflammatory speech.

By not following the Covid-19 guidelines, the Election Commission guidelines and Section 144 imposed by the District Magistrate were violated. A case was registered in the police station in this matter. The investigator, while investigating, filed the charge sheet in the court. The hearing of this case took place in the court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Indresh. After hearing both the sides, the court acquitted the accused Pradeep Chaudhary alias Guddu. Pradeep Chaudhary alias Guddu’s supporters have expressed happiness over his acquittal in the inflammatory speech case.
